FSU Help!

I applied to FSU yesterday and I checked today, this is what it said...

Our records show that one or more of the ACT and/or SAT subscores we currently have on file for you are below our minimum requirements; therefore, we encourage you to retest. If taking the ACT, you must also submit the ACT Writing Test. For comprehensive information about freshman admission standards, please refer to FSU Admissions | Freshman | Admissions | Admission Requirements.

My SAT scores:

Reading; 580
Math; 430 (they require 500)
Writing; 550

Total; 1560

3.5 Weighted GPA
3.0 Unweighted

I still have 5 core classes to take as a senior but I was wondering, what is the CARE program? I really want to attend FSU so badly, i'll do whatever it takes. The problem is I am so horrible with math. Can someone explain the CARE program? Do I have a good shot at getting in through it?

Dear Kevin,
I just finished applying to FSU the other day too. I received the same message about my SAT scores. I was able to pass the requirements on my second attempt at the SAT. They accept scores up to December 1st if I remember correctly. You could retake the exam in November. Have you considered the ACT?
About the CARE program there is description on their website, here is the link,[CARE / FSU - CARE](http://care.fsu.edu/). To be honest, I do not know much about it.
Hope this helps. Wish you the best in the admissions process. Maybe we will see each other at FSU. Thanks.

when one of your sat scores (or act) is below their requirment you are automaticaly deffered till you resend them better scores  try taking the act and seeing if you exceed the requirments. if not retake sat as quickly as possible
