FSU honors vs UF regular

I got into the honors but I don't qualify for UF honors. I want to major in business and I am very clueless on which school would be better for me.

1) how do you know if you got in honors?
2) FSU > UF honors (yeah, really)

they sent me an email on Friday.

Have you visited either campus? If you can, before you have to decide, that would probably help you make up your mind.

Honestly, I have always been thoroughly unimpressed with the UF campus. That’s just me though, and you might like their campus.

Honors gives you several advantages.

Early registration for classes.

Honors classes usually consist of 25 students.

Many Honors invitees are offered the University Scholarship.

i am so petitioning for honors…i have to get it. even if i don’t get the scholarship, i’d be honored (no pun)

also ly, fsu has better overall people, better facilities, better everything.

Priority registration is HUGE. It’s getting ridiculously hard to schedule classes that you need at most state schools when you are a freshman. Most people get stuck having to stay an extra semester (or two) or having to take classes that they don’t really want. I would consider FSU honors for this reason alone.

Imagine being able to get into basically any class you want from Day One. Plus you get smaller classes and smarter classmates. Also, you get to live in better dorms.

i cannot wait until feb 15, and then march 16 then! :)

You have to write a personal statement to petition for honors. Any ideas on what should be included in that personal statement?

it gives you tips in the petition app.

Both have good business schools. If FSU is offering Honors, take it.
