Make sure to load the Status Check page even if you haven’t received an email informing you of a change of decision. I just did and I was offered admission in the Spring term of 2013. Honestly not what I wanted, but I’m still debating on which to choose now (FSU or UCF).

Yea I’m hoping to get into UCF too. They already waitlisted me though. My stats are:
SAT: 1800
Math:610
Reading: 610
Writing: 580
GPA: 3.78
Core GPA: 3.00

So I apparently was accepted for Spring 2013. I’m glad I got in but I’m pretty confused. Does this mean I just kinda do nothing for during the first semester? Do I go to my local CC for a semester? When do I apply for housing, orientation, admission deposit and the like?

We just found out that my son got accepted for spring 2013 as well. Wasn’t prepared for that response so we are confused as well. He would have jumped at the chance to get in for this summer. Neither of us thought spring was an option.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m very pleased as FSU is my number one choice and offering spring admission is a nifty way of allowing those who wouldn’t have gotten in otherwise an opportunity. It’s just that the explanation on what we need to do was really vague and leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

ACCEPTED Spring 2013!!!
GPA: 3.15
SAT: Math- 600 Verbal- 540 Writing- 560
ACT: Composite: 24 Math- 25 Science- 25 Reading- 24 English- 22
is their any point to still fill out housing request for FSU or would it be wise to look into off campus??

So I just got flat-out rejected from FSU, and I’m a bit surprised…

ACT: 29
wGPA: 4.28
uwGPA: 3.37
Did track and other ECs, got 262 volunteer hours
essay: Pretty good
Classes: IB/AP courses, atm taking 7
My only downfall is junior year 1st semester where I got a D in physics c and F in Calculus 2 (duel enrollment), was going through tough time at home.
Since then, had an upward trend in grades.
Also average ACT score is between 26-30 this year with FSU GPA 3.7-4.3.

Look I’m confused and wondering whether or not I should appeal because right now FSU is an institution I was really looking forward of getting into.
