FSU Med Students on Spring Break...

<p>A photo of an FSU Med Student spending her spring break in Immokalee, FL working with medically underserved persons:</p>

<p>No beach, no beer, no bikinis...just sleeping on the floor of the FSU Med facility, perfecting their medical skills and practicing their Spanish. D1 reports that the med students, supervised by FSU Med faculty, saw some 500 persons per 4-hour session for medical screening.</p>

<p>My daughter was there, so you likely saw her as well. She told us there were some undergraduate students from Notre Dame in town they met who were very nice and curious about being a med student.</p>
