Fsu or ucf physical therapy

So it is my senior year in high school and I got accepted to Florida state and central Florida. I haven't toured fsu yet but I managed to see ucf. I absolutely loved the campus but I don't know much about the fsu campus. I plan on touring fsu early next month. If anyone could give me some pros and cons about both schools I would really appreciate it.

Please see the FSU section on CC. There are lots of discussions for you to review.

In general, FSU is a much stronger and better credentialed academic university than Central Florida.

It might be important to know that UCF has a Doctor of Physical Therapy Program while FSU doesn’t.

And don’t listen to parent2noles. All she does is go around the forums bragging about FSU and putting down other schools.

The last freshmen class for FSU and UCF had about the same credentials but FSU has been around for WAAAAY longer which shows that UCF will surpass it by the time we graduate.

Also, being in Orlando, you have more things to do, and it will also be easier for you to get physical therapy internships which are VERY important to getting into Physical Therapy Doctorate Programs

Location to centers of population and the economy has been the drivers of UCF’s recent FTIC success. But that does not make up for things like for a terrible faculty-student ratio at U Central Florida.

FSU does not offer physical therapy as an undergraduate major.

However, FSU offers strong pre-physical therapy undergraduate work in conjunction with the College of Medicine which would enable entry into one of the state’s physical therapy graduate programs:
