I was wondering what you guys think about fsu vs ucf when it. Comes to undergraduate engineering I want to go to graduate school for engineering so I have to decide wheather a graduate schools look more at the better program like ucf or the more prestigious school like fsu

Grad schools will care more about the program and less about the school. They will care even more about your GPA, Test Scores, letters of recommendations, research experience…etc.

In this case, UCF will be able to offer more opportunities in research (it has a far large engineering research budget) and local internships (Orlando), and it’s viewed as a stronger, more established engineering program. However, you can still do fine at FSU.

FSU offers 6 BS degrees in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering,Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

UCF offers 8 BS degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering, Civil Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Environmental Health Engineering,
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Structural Engineering

If you want to go into Chemical Engineering, you have to select FSU. If you want Aerospace, Environmental, or Structural, then its UCF.

Good Luck!
