Well I will be applying to both UF and FSU and was wondering which school is better for business. I will most likely go into economics, finance, or maybe accounting.

I know UF is ranked higher than FSU in most polls but I was wondering which would give me the most opportunies and highest starting salary?

Which school do you think would be more fun to go to? I.E. parties, friendliness of school, challenge of curriculum?

Ok, this is a loaded post but I'll try to answer as much as I can.
UF is ranked ahead of FSU in overall academics. FSU' has some programs that are ranked ahead of UF's. The two business schools are ranked very closely to each other. They both have good business schools. For ecomomics , go with FSU. For accounting, go to with UF. FSU's College of Business has the highest job placement out of the Florida universities, according to BusinessWeek. I think both schools would give you similar opportunites after graduation.
I'm probably biased, but FSU is known for it's parties and social scene a little more than UF. I think most UF grads would even admit to FSU's atmosphere being somewhat friendlier. UF is known for being more cut-throat and competitive. Both schools are big enough where you can find your own niche.
The only true way to decide where to attend, it's to visit both campuses for yourself. It comes down to personal preference.

I can only speak with knowledge about UF, but I know that within certain majors at the business school (I believe finance is one of them), you have to keep a certain GPA which makes it more competitive.

This isn't meant so that you can pick UF, I would choose based on where you would want to study for four years. I'm just providing the UF ranking fyi.

I stand by what I posted. UF's accounting program is regarded higher than FSU's. FSU has a good accounting program, but UF's is slightly better. Just look at the rankings that GatorEng posted. I'm not too sure about UF's ecomomics program, but FSU's is very reputable. You really can't go wrong with either school.
