FSU Physics Major- Foreign Language

I'm pursuing a degree in physics. Do I need to take foreign language classes if I plan on pursuing a B.S. (not B.A.) in physics? Thanks!

The foreign language requirement applies to the College of Arts and Sciences. I do not believe that it matters whether you go for a B.A. or a B.S.

SweetheartCroc is right. In order to graduate from the College of Arts & Sciences in any major they house, you have to meet the foreign language requirement.

The good news is that many majors allow you to take the language courses as pass/fail. Basically, you just fill out this piece of paper in the Arts & Sciences office, and then as long as you get what would be a C in the class (so ~ a 70), you get an S saying you passed the class, instead of a grade. You can do this for I believe 12 credit hours, which is perfect if all you take getting graded S/U is your language courses.
