<p>I'm considering studying economics on possibly a pre-law track, and I am torn between the University of Florida and Florida State University. I recognize that the former has a stronger academic reputation, however, I believe that FSU offers awesome opportunity for learning the ropes because of it's location in the capital city. Also, UF has a reputation for cutthroat competition, which could threaten a high GPA. I was wondering if a degree from UF would overshadow a strong GPA and internship resume at FSU when law school admissions officers are reviewing an application.</p>
