FSU questions

Ok hi everyone, forgive me, I'm posting from my itouch and this will take a little while and might not be that great, but here it goes.

I'm an OOS male interested going to school in Florida. I'm looking at a lot of schools but I'll probably apply to at least FSU and UM. I'll need some $$$ to attend either school. I'm not really looking at UF because I'm OOS and I heard FSU is a little better with the merit $. My intended major is Political Science so I heard FSU is better for that. I also may try to double major in econ but Polisci is #1 for me.

I'm just a soph so I've got time, but I live in OH so I need to start plannig and thinking about some trips to some schools that are kind of far away.

I'll have 4.2 ( hopefully close to 4.3 by graduation) val will probably have around a 4.4 maybe 4.5. My UW GPA is about a 3.85 and will probably stay around there.

I'm not a great standardized test taker, but I'm studying and shooting for a 30+. I'm really trying for a 32+ or above 1400 SAT. So that does not really paint that clear of a picture but I guess just assume Ill get a 30ish. What kind of money do you think I get? I'm also an Eagle Scout and I do a lot a volunteer work, and I'm involved in other clubs like MUN and mock trial.

Ok, what is the campus like? I've heard none of college campuses in Florida are blow you away amazing but heard FSU is probably near or at the top. I'm sure it is really nice, but how would you compare it to other schools? I just toured Alabama, and I loved their campus if anyone has been to both schools how would compare their campuses?

What is N. Florida like? Tally? Pretty humid?

Thanks I may post more tomorrow on a real computer.

The [FSU article on Wikipedia](Florida State University - Wikipedia) is a good place to start - there are a lot of graphics showing the campus and providing a lot of information in one place.

For Tallahassee weather, FSU has the NOAA office on campus, associated with the well-known meteorology program. They post the [current weather](http://www.met.fsu.edu/).

And, obviously, the [FSU main website](http://fsu.edu/) has a lot of information as well. If you qualify, the [University Scholarship](http://www.fsu.edu/students/prospective/undergraduate/finances/scholarships.shtml) is $9600 over 4 years. There are more than that for highly qualified students.
