hey! can someone tell me about the greek life at florida state? and the reps of some sororities, which are best, etc?

My D is in a sorority. The sororities on campus have an unwritten rule. They will tell you that their house is the best, but will rarely talk about other houses. That is the classy way to do it (per my D.) GDI’s (independents) will comment, and fraternities will comment, but that is about it. There are 15 established houses on campus, and one new that will colonize this fall. You can find a goo d fit at FSU. Rush is structured so that you visit all the houses during the first round.

You can have a great experience at FSU if you go greek or not. For my D, a sorority has made a large campus smaller, and given her leadership opportunities that she would not have had otherwise. The connections have helped as well. A sister often knows a sister, alum, prof, friend that might be able to help in any given situation.
