FSU Study Abroad

Anyone Interested in this? I applied for a summer France program and I'm also interested in a spending a year abroad but I'm having doubts. Should I miss my first year/summer(2011) of college to go to another country?

I am getting my AA with my high school diploma so I'm not really interested in taking another year of general requirements but I probably should because I don't know what to major in.

Any advice? Please and thank you!

Anyone here plan on studying abroad?

They offer GREAT Study Abroad experiences. I don’t think you would ever be sorry. Make sure you look closely at the courses offered if you already have your AA, as there are many gen eds in those programs. No sense in taking things you don’t need. As long as you can come up with enough classes to take, I’d do it if I were you…jmo.

Thank you for relpying.

I went ahead and applied. I think I’m going to take the leap. I signed up for the summer 2011 France language program and got the confirmation email today… I couldn’t be any more nervous.

What’s not to like! Hope it’s a great experience! :~)

FYA at FSU is amazing. DD loves it. Go for it. You won’t regret it.

Brysia,

I’m glad your daughter loves the program. Where did she decide to go?
