FSU to potentially cut Freshman Enrollment this year

<p>Another cc member just posted this on the FSU board. thought you might be interested in this news. Looks like, for those students currently awaiting an admissions decision at FSU (perhaps UF is considering the same enrollment cut), will find themselves, unfortunately in the most competitive applicant pool in years.</p>

<p>^ Good. With the miserable funding UF gets from the Legislature, we should follow suit. UF should reduce the incoming classes by a thousand as well.</p>

<p>Makes you wonder what exactly he IS going to do to make up the 16 million shortfall.</p>

<p>UF Alumni have LOTS of money. But it shouldn't come down to that, and we should just cut incoming classes so that alumni giving can be diverted to Research and infastructure development.</p>
