Hi!! I’m currently a college freshman at FSU and I start school in a few weeks! I applied to both FSU and UF my senior year of high school and got into FSU, but got into UF’s PaCE program. I don’t want to do online classes and miss out on college experiences so I decided to attend FSU. I already have 46 credits, from IB and AP classes I took in high school, and was wondering when I should apply for a transfer? I’m taking 15 credits for the fall semester, so I’ll have enough credits to meet UF’s requirements.
I know I should probably give FSU a chance, and I a promise that I am once I get there! But I had my heart set at UF, and it was such a disappointment to see that I didn’t make the cut… even though I had great test scores and a really high GPA and HPA. But, I can’t change their decision even though I tried to ask for an appeal.
I’m going into pre-law, so I’m planning to double major in history and political science! Tallahassee has good opportunities for law since it’s the state’s capitol, but I still feel like I belong at UF.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
I’ve been to Tallahassee and my brother studies at FSU. You’ll definitely like it there. People are nice, mostly social. Nightlife is great and depending on the career, studies are good as well. I study in the fsu campus outside of the United States so take my advice lightly from what my brother has told me and what I saw personally.
