FSU Transfer

I’ve recently applied to FSU and completed the application process, because I’m a transfer it didn’t ask for an essay, a resume, or any recommendations. I wondering if I should send in an essay or a resume anyway… Would they even look at it? I would like the university to know a little bit more about me rather than my test scores and GPA. What do you guys think?

I would call and double check to see if you overlooked something. If not, I think it would benefit you to upload a resume assuming it’s a well written resume with additional information that will have a positive effect. Anything you choose to attach needs to be edited carefully and well written. You don’t want to submit an application that you put a lot of thought into and then attach a thrown together resume. I’m sure you realize that though.

The transfer application is different than the first-time-in-college freshman application.

There’s no need for a resume or anything because all that matters really is your GPA and whether you have your AA (if not, other factors do come into play, namely SAT/ACT scores and high school transcripts). No resume, essay, etc is needed nor really wanted.
