Hello all, sorry if this is the wrong place but i was having trouble figuring out whether most colleges do early decision orr not, Does anyone know if FSU/USF/UCF have it, as well as when the dealine is for next year??

Thank you so very much!

FSU has two deadlines, one in October (last year Oct 16), the other I think Feb 1. It’s not so much ED as just the first wave, and then you can sign up for housing early. UF had a December date for the early date, and I don’t know about the others but I don’t remember them as being quite so early as FSU.

Your Guidance counselors should know the dates. They send in their info electronically from Florida high schools.

UF’s freshman application is due Nov 1’st, and you have until the end of December to submit any ACT/SAT test scores. UF announces results on the 2nd Friday of February.

Other than UF and FSU, the other state universities are using rolling admissions. You can start applying around September, with results (and financial aid/merit) back as soon as Oct/Nov.

None of the Florida public universities use early decision (which is binding). FSU’s first application date could be called “early action” and is none binding.
