Hey guys, i was accepted into both USF and FSU didn't get into UF ;(, I did get into LSU but im not going to go there anyway. The thing is, ive heard from several people, that USF is a more medical oriented school, but in all honesty if FSU has a comparable medical program i prefer the FSU area more. I was wondering if any of you could possibly help me on my decision. Which school truly has better undergraduate medical programs, along with which school has higher medical school acceptance rate. From crusiing around the site, i saw that a big percentage of UF's medical school students come from USF.

Source please.

I would say the total opposite, many of the students at FSU and USF come from UF. One of the main reasons is that UF has a large pre-med student body.

As parent2noles noted and I forgot to mention, the school doesn't get you into medical school. Its the grades earned, MCAT scores, EC's, research, LOR, leadership, and volunteering/shadowing while at you school. So the question left to be asked....

Personally, for the area and the way the campus is situated, along with the overall opportunities that i got to see from the FSU preview, i most defiinitely like FSU more. My brother goes to USF, i know USF the USF area which im not 100 percent tottaly happy with, although im going on a tour of USF next week. I felt more at home in the FSU campus.
