I am interested in both schools and heard both have a great business program but how do you think the two schools stand up againist each other. As well do you know anything about the admission process for these schools such as GPA and SAT average for getting into the two schools!! thanks guys!!

FSU is slightly harder to get into, I think.

But USF has the beach.

FSU has much better and more comprehensive national ratings than USF, among many other factors, such as SAT and grade averages for freshmen, freshmen retention rate, graduation rate and more.

For example, see: FSU Highlights

FSU's College of Business: College of Business - Florida State University

University of Tampa also has an amazing business school, from what I hear. There's about a 15 minute distance between the two

FSU has a superior reputation and is nationally known. USF is a newcomer...both in sports and academics...and is growing its national reputation very rapidly. Thus, as always, it comes down to YOU and where you see yourself being for 4 years and where you "fit" the best: academics, social, geographical, financial etc. Visit both and see where you get that warm and fuzzy, "this is ME!" feeling. And go there.

Good luck. Both are fine schools.

Here's some more specific data about the various Colleges of Business:

Per a recent USNews undergraduate business school rankings (public and private universities):

UFL 32
FSU 43 (25th in US publics)
UMiami 70
UCF 143
USF 146
