<p>Do they still matriculate a day earlier then everyone and if yes why?</p>
<p>The CC's from USMAPS do not "matriculate" a day earlier. However, they do arrive (together as a class) at West Point the day before R-Day. After getting situated, they can spend time with family and friends on that Sunday. On R-Day, they start inprocessing at 5:45 AM, well before the other New Cadet Candidates. My CC just flew back to USMAPS today and they will spend the next few days preparing for the trip to West Point and R-Day.</p>
<p>Any idea why they do this? Kind of wierd that they want the ft monmouth preps there early.</p>
