Which one is harder to get into if I apply ED? Also, how much better is Cornell engineering really? Will it be easier to get into grad school if I go to Cornell, or does it really not make a difference?

Umm....Cornell is tough both admission and courseload.

if you want to go by numbers, Fu has about a 20% acceptance while Cornell has about 25% but also look at the number of applicants to both

i got accepted to both and am going to fu mostly because i like the school better but also because i really dont think a grad school will say "eww fu" or "yay cornell!", they are both ivies after all and both have good reputations

I think Cornell, has a much higher reputation for engineering than Cornell. Engineering and hard sciences are basically Cornell's specialties.

so in the end, which is easier to get in ?

They're both on the same level...pick the one that you feel is better.
