Full classes and waitlists

Is it just me or do all the classes seem to fill up faster this year? Every class that I wanted to sign up for during Phase II is either full, or the waitlist is full...

Sometimes I regret not going to a private university.

It helps to know which classes fill up quickly ahead of time, which- in my opinion- should always be Phase I.

I just wanted to bump this up because I am certainly frustrated with being waitlisted. Being a sophomore (the last of the Phase 2 group) sucks. Anybody with me in being upset about not getting the classes you originally wanted?

I'd really like this AC anthro class - it's super small and seems quite interesting - but it filled up ASAP! I'm number 2 on the Waitlist. Fingers crossed.

didnt get math54...not even on the waitlist of 100...its just completely ridiculous

bah, same.

yea, im feeling frustrated... im waitlisted for every class except physics 8a... and Idk if im gonna even keep that class judging by how bad my scheduling is going. I feel screwed... somewhat.

I wanted to take two PE classes this year (I'm a freshman). If I'm number 30 for yoga with a class size of 30...will I get in?

Unlikely, sorry-- yoga is REALLY popular, you need a Phase I that's pretty early to get in any of the yoga ones.

aww... oh well. thanks for telling me in advance! i was thinking of dropping one of my classes and taking two PE classes instead so I could have a fun freshman year. :(

are there any PE classes that you suggest I take? I'm a girl... Oh, and I'm also signed up for TKD

My Latin 1 class actually got full. I. was 24th of 25 to successfully register for the course. That says something. Last fall there were sections with less than 10 people.

I wonder if this has anything to do with me telling massive numbers of freshmen to take 16 units in a year with tremendous budget cuts...

I'm first on the waitlist for German R5A and second on the waitlist for a Math 53 discussion. Should I just go ahead and purchase my books? Can I count on some people dropping their classes??
