Full Fare Chances

Even though Pomona claims to be need blind, are they still likely to accept an applicant who is paying full international tuition? Even though this person would be a little under their "required" standardized test scores.

I have the appropriate test scores, and applying for financial aid, but I am just wondering how my chances rank against those of a (not necessarily less qualified) full fare applicant.

Thanks

Oh! I'm also going ED with Pomona!

You shouldn’t apply ED!! International students seeking financial assistance should apply RD. There are approximately 10 internationals each year that get financial aid. If they want you I think they will give you the money you need. But you definitely have a better chance of getting in if you can pay the bill.
Which country are you from? I have heard that Pomona has tons of Chinese students.

It seems that Pomona is need-blind but NOT full-need for international students. So apply, but don’t count on being able to afford it if you get in.

It is need aware for internationals and very competitive.
Also, you can’t apply ED if u need aid as am international.
