Full ride at Rutgers Stats?

Who got a full ride at Rutgers?

What were your exact stats (GPA, SATs, etc)?

96% gpa
1530/2290 sat :)

^ Is the 96 weighted and what was your rank? I’m also interested in the stats of full ride recipients to Rutgers.

96 is weighted, I believe I had a 94 unweighted. my high school doesn’t rank =/

^ Are you in-state?

Son received Presidential Scholarship with 1490/2210 SAT.
4.65/5.00 weighted GPA - will be ranked 2 or 3 out of about 320.

I think you have to live in NJ to be considered for the scholarship.

Could you provide a cursory description of the Presidential Scholarship? Sorry, I know next to nothing about college scholarships yet.

The scholarship seems to be based primarily on class rank and SAT. When you apply to Rutgers (I’m assuming you’re a Junior) apply as early as possible. In order to be considered for any scholarship, you have to apply by Dec.1 and do the essay. They have rolling admissions so if you have good stats, you should get an acceptance relatively quickly. Scholarship info will come later on (anywhere from January to March).

The Presidential is the largest scholarship - 23000 per year which is supposed to cover tuition, room and board. I think the next one is the Carr Scholarship which is 10000 per year. There are other ones for lesser amounts.

Again if you have good stats and really want the Presidential, I would send the application by October. Of course that’s assuming they continue it next year - with the budget mess who knows.

^ I plan on sending my application to Rutgers in as early as possible.

What is the largest (financially)/most difficult scholarship offered by Rutgers?

as mamajay said, the presidential is the largest scholarship offered by rutgers. it is a full-ride.

A perfect SAT/Top 5% in Class (school doesn’t officially rank) should qualify right?

I have 32 ACT superscore and 1990 SAT Superscore. I have a 3.8 UW gpa. Will I be considered?

Jersey, most people that I’ve talked to has a trend of top 10% in their class, and a 1500+ on their SAT not including the Writing section receives full-ride to Rutgers.
