Any experience with merit aid at these schools would be greatly appreciated!

You must really like BC since you listed it twice :)

Do you mean “full ride” as in full tuition? None of these will give you a “full ride” which is a scholarship that covers tuition, room, board, books.

I don’t think BC is a great source of scholarship money.

USC - good chance for at least 50% of tuition.

UT - Austin only wants to do “need” aid now

UGeorgia - NO

UMiami - good chance for some tuition dollars.

Vandy - does do merit, but often targets desirable URMs and rare regions.

If you want **assured ** full tuition merit scholarships, then you’ll have to apply to other schools ASAP.

You should get some merit aid at Ohio State. Since you don’t list your home state I don’t know how much.

Thank you very much for the input.

I’m a Tennessee resident, already received full tuition+ from University of Tennessee, but I’d like to go out of state.

To mom2collegekids, I am not looking for assured merit as much as probability of receiving any merit. I know some schools do not reward for merit, and your input helped me greatly. Thanks!

Just wanted to say I agree with your screenname!!
Also, Tulane is very generous with $$ and with your stats you are likely to get $$. Howeer, there is no journalism major at Tulane.
