Does UW-Madison offer any full ride scholarships? I've searched and I haven't been able to find any. I have good stats (36 on ACT, 4.4 GPA, 3 sports), so I think I'd have a chance at earning a full-ride somewhere. Where can I find a full-ride and how do I apply? Thanks in advance.

there's a bunch of cc threads here about full rides. You can use the search function and plug in terms like "full ride" (or full-ride), "merit aid", etc.

Here's one:

Good luck.

National Merit Scholarsips are also available. UW doesn't need to offer full rides to attract excellent students. The list in post #3 lists a few. Many favor state residents and need is considered. You have to do the searching for scholarships by hunting in the UW website for available ones- no easy way to apply either, no single application for all scholarships offered. More funds are available to continuing students than entering freshmen. You should look for non UW sources that can be used at UW, explore any you may be eligible for through your local HS.

I think this is the weakest area for UW for OOS students. The UW is working on it and I expect to see some improvements over the next few years.

Are you 6'6", weigh 340, and run 40 yards in under 5 seconds? If so, a full ride wouldn't be a problem.

Or a safety who can tackle. And a QB with a real arm and legs to match. And a few guys who can catch a pass.
