Full-Ride to NJIT or Rutgers with poor EC's??

Well, my GPA is good, and I know that my SAT's will be 700-750 each but I'm goaling to get a 750 in each whether it kills me.

I have all my grades pretty good (3.5-3.9) I'd estimate, but my EC's are none. I just realized I've done nothing since freshman year (I'm a junior now). All I have is alot of volunteer work (50+ hours...only 20 needed for my school) and a part-time job with big responsibilities. But besides that, no clubs or anything.

I also live in New Jersey so I know I'm 100% going to get accepted into either NJIT or Rutgers- New Brunswick but what do they base full-rides on? Will a really high SAT score get me one even without the EC's??

To get full ride, you need to be in top 10 percent with I believe a 2200+. EC's dont matter. There is this grid on rutgers webpage, forgot where it is though.

Awesome (for me)...thanks...I'll look for the grid.

Ohh, I think it's here for Rutgers.

Presidential Scholarship

The Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious merit scholarship offered by the university. Awards are $17,000 per year for a maximum of $68,000 for four years, and include a $9,000 on-campus housing and dining allowance. Admission to honors programs and eligibility for honors housing are additional benefits. Admitted students with ranks in the top 5% of their class and 1500 or better on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT (or 34 ACT composite score) are considered.

Yeah. You gotta go rutgers.edu. Then admissions. Then scholarships. Should be around their somewhere. Ohh, I guess they changed it. Top 5 Percent now. and 1500+. Well good luck dude. Hope you get it. Rutgers f|_|ckin kicks ass.
