full ride

I've already posted this, but now I am calling for internationals that had similar experience.
As an international student I am searching for universities that offer full ride for internationals (merit based because very few offer need based for internationals). Although it is extremely difficult to qualify for such aid, I still hope simply because it is the only way for me to study in US. I am interested in undergraduate business schools, so if you know any please help me.(of course post any full rides for internationals not only in business schools).
As for the school where internationals are eligible for need based aid, my list includes Lehigh U, U of Richmond, Rhodes, Dickinson, Earlham(not sure). Would you add some schools or comment anything about these?

A full ride as in "tuition, room&board and living expenses"? Frankly, I think that you won't be accepted with a full ride at any of these places unless you are a really exceptional applicant (which I guess you are not because you said that most elite private college offering need-based aid are too competitive). But please, don't let me discourage you from applying anywhere because I am only a naive soon-to-be college student and it would be terrible if I were to ruin your future.

I know colleges that award full tuition merit scholarships to international students, or full tuition and a small housing grant, but nothing close to a full ride.

As someone who's interested in business you will have an even harder time than the average international financial aid applicant because there are sooo many international business students paying the whole fare that colleges usually don't need to invest significant fin aid money to attract more students.

Sorry for this extremely discouraging reply...

I have to agree with b@r!um

If you'll apply to HYP a full ride would be possible

Do a search and you will find a lot of information on this

Mates, you are really making me feel hopeless. Applying to the need-blind for internationals colleges would cerainly provide a full ride because EFC would probably be about zero, but as you already mentioned it is really, really difficult, why not impossible to be accepted at HYP or MIT. I am not a dreamer, so I am looking for something real. From what you said I perceived that my chances are minute but I still hope (after all, hope is what keeps us going). I know some guys from my homeland (Bulgaria-a small country in Southeastern Europe) that are admitted to colleges like Colby, Richmond and Dickinson with full ride (or almost full ride without cost of books and transportation, now on second thought I don't even know whether a full ride includes these). I am also interested in IUB where there are quite a few Bulgarians. As I know it is need-blind so it is also an alternative.
Although your posts are quite discouraging, thank you

I would like to give you an idea about the level of competition we are talking about (I don't have the numbers for Dickinson or Richmond so I will go with Colby): This year, Colby had about 1000 international applicants, 900 of them were applying for aid. Out of the 900, only about 10 students were admitted with financial aid... Decide for yourself how "real" your chances are.
While being from Bulgaria, a small country that's not well represented at American colleges, will help you, your interest in business is a killer.
Good luck where ever you decide to apply :) (not meant to be sarcastic)
