Full scholarship for PhD in economics

I am a 3rd year econ major at one of the UC and have a gpa of 4.000/4.000 and I only have three more quarters to go. I haven't take GRE yet though.
Besides GPA, I have a internship, research and etc.

Does anyone know a top graduate school that has a full scholarship for PhD in economics for international student? or even mid-tiers? What will be the requirement?

Every graduate school worth its name offers fellowships and assistantships. You should not undertake a Ph.D program without full funding.

Funding is generally based on a combination of academic performance, GRE scores, research interests and experience. Sounds like you will be a competitive candidate.

Is obtaining Masters in Economics will increase my chance to get into top Econ Ph.D programs???

Make sure to take as many math classes as possible.

You’ll definitely need:

-Multivariable Calc
-Linear Algebra
-Differential Equations
-Real Analysis
-Probability and Statistics

More math will be even better.

If you take all these math classes and do well in them, there will be no need to go into a masters program. There are no reputable masters programs in the US

If you want to drive yourself crazy (but it’s very interesting to see who got in, and where):
