Hey there. I got my full score report online for the SAT Biology E. It doesn't say the raw score. It only says percentiles...like...You scored higher than...

Are there different percentiles and score ranges for 800? I'm kind of worried...I think that I got a bunch wrong but the score is scaled to 800. My score range is 770-800. When I took the SAT Chinese with Listening, I scored 800 but the score range was 780-800. Is this normal?

but yea mine still said 770-800.. all that means is that if you were to take the test again within a few weeks you would get a score within that range.. this range score is only important if you scored poorly (i.e. you got 650 and it will say something like 630-670 so if your aim is an 800 you will have to study A LITTLE more; otherwise, at best you can only get 670)

i took chinese too btw but i got 690 which was 10th percentile and my range is 670-710 :(

so i need to study A LITTLE for that one as well.. but then again i am indian :D

thanks guys. ok, i was just worried what it really meant. sigh of relief

swoop: 690 in chinese is very good. the average is high b/c so many native speakers take it. the listening is easy for native speakers, so yeah, i guess its not really fair. i scored a low percentile even though i got every question right (52%).
