Full-time CC vs. AP?

I have a friend who is confused about taking all CC classes next year or just doing normal classes (with AP) at our school.

Our school offers only 5 AP classes. Our AP English classes have been extremely watered down and it's just been an iffy situation since we haven't had a REAL teacher all year long (minus 1.5 months). The other AP English (12- Literature) class is basically a read-novels-and-write-book-reports type of class.

In short, she (as well as I and some of my other classmates) have outgrown the resources at our school as most of it has been the same thing over the last few years.

Is it a wise idea to dodge the other APs so that honors classes and APs (2/5) and CC classes make our 'taking advantage of opportunities available' quota?

doing both confuses your schedule. the class times may conflict. plus, the community college and your school may have different holidays; for example, spring break. if ap is bad at your school, do community college.

when i first saw this thread, i thought you meant Full Time College Confidential vs. AP classes. that'd be an interesting decision to make.

Could you try the UW?

Hmm... I'll look into that. My Spanish teacher is looking into their (extension courses?). I'll find out more. Thanks for the suggestion Simmy.

Same here. I was about to reply full time CC of course! If you think your English teacher is "watery" than CC doesn't sound like a bad idea.
