any advice on working and full time schooling. How many credits do u recommend? anyone work full time and still go to school full time? Im trying to decide if i can work full time to pay bills but i want to finish school sometime this millenium

The point of being a full time employee is that it’s… full time. You can’t do two things full-time with 24 hours in a day.

If you’re going to be a full time employee, go to school part time by taking night classes or something.

If you’re going to be a full time student, find a part time job. I’d suggest doing this, thus getting your degree quicker. When you get your degree, there will be more, better paying jobs available to you. Good luck.

^There are plenty of people who are full-time students with full-time jobs. A full-time job means somewhere around 40 hours per week. If eight hours per day five days a week isn’t feasible, more time can be added to the weekends. For students who really need the money, this is a good option.

However, such a schedule obviously isn’t going to be for everyone. If at all possible, try a part-time job where you can add hours as you can handle them. That way you’re more likely to get a manageable schedule.

If you MUST work full-time, then I wouldn’t recommened taking more than 9-10 credits.
I worked full time last semester while taking 10 credits and it was hard…(some of it had to due with it being accelerated classes tho)
I basically went to work at 8, got off at 5, and worked on my online classes 6-10pm and several hours during the weekend.

I say do one full time, the other half time. Yes you CAN do both full-time, but it’s not fun.
