I am currently a sophomore in high school and working on average 30 hours a week. I do both of these with 5 AP classes, i had a 3.85 unweighted and 4.714 weighted. What will colleges such as Stanford and Harvard look at the work and school?
Wow, when do you eat, sleep,or bathe? This is impressive. Of course they will like that. However, is the work in lieu of extra curriculars, or is it for need? Just bear in mind that colleges do like ECs, so if you work for need, such as family support, I would definitely be sure your counselor incorporates that into their letter. If you are working to earn money for a specific goal, such as college, the counselor should note that too. If you are working to save money for new video games, that might not be so impressive;-)
