Hi everyone,

I just have a quick little question on my TAG and Full time student consideration.

I currently go to De Anza community college, however this spring I will be taking 2 Classes/1 Lab at our sister school Foothill college. If together I have 12 units would that still work for UCs to consider me as full time and also to keep my TAG agreement up? This is my last quarter and I don’t plan on doing 13 Units at one school and 10 at another.

I believe 12 is the magic number.

From UC davis, quarter system:
“Certification of Full-Time Status. Undergraduate students must carry a study load of at least 12 units (including workload units) each quarter in order to be certified as full-time students for insurance and financial aid purposes or to compete in intercollegiate athletics.”

So as long as I have 12 units total from different schools that’s okay?
