Full tuition / free ride

Which schools have you found that offer scholarships equivalent to full tuition or better, and which are the best?

This is a subject I haven't seen after a few searches of the board... maybe I missed it. But it could be valuable info for everyone.

I dunno- I think in most cases any school willing to give you a free ride will contact you. I know I got letters from a bunch saying they'd give me full plus a stipend, but I don't remember which ones because they weren't ones I wanted to go to.

Oh, UPitt was one. They wanted to waive my recommendations, essays, and application fee too. Nice to feel courted, but they tried too hard.

Full and almost full scholarships for National Merit Scholars: http://homepage.mac.com/l_j/secondhome/National_Merit.html

Many also offer the same deals to National Hispanic and National Achievement Scholars.

Cooper Union ...if you get in ... it's tuition free for everyone ...and of course West Point... but there are drawbacks....

Hahah, true, true.

Arcadia offered my sister a full ride.

My friend turned down Brown for a full ride at TCNJ's 7 year med program.

theoneo ...another night owl...what's tcnj

The College of New Jersey. Public school.

The 7-year program is actually at UMDNJ - the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey (I think that's what it's called) for the med part.

And I prefer "insomniac".

Yo go to the High School Life room and play the two games :P.
