I’ve been working on creating an app for quite a few months now. I don’t know programming so I’ve started teaching myself while working on the content. Is it something I can tell MIT about in the FUN form?
The app ties back to my extracurriculars and would allow them to understand better why I love the few activities I’ve listed in Part 1. My idea is very creative which is why I don’t wanna post it here but I get very positive feedback from the people I trust.
@Maria2001 You can tell MIT anything you want about yourself. Code is often submitted in maker portfolios as well.
Whether it will help you get admitted, thats hard to say, because you say you are a beginner at coding here, so
its hard to write a substantial piece of code as a beginner, but good luck with it.
@Maria2001 Here are the MIT FUN form FAQs, you cannot update a portfolio so maybe your code is not going to be submittable on the FUN form. Its just for grades and awards, read these guidelines –
