I figured I share some of the fun pranks I have done and thought up over the past 2 years Ive been at school. WARNING: these pranks are meant for close friends, too often you'll find that seemingly harmless ends up ****ing some overly serious people off because they take it as an insult.

Do not attempt if you can't take responsibility for the consequences.

Room switch-

Many college dorm rooms are symmetrical and have identical furniture on each side. When both roommates are gone, gain access to their room and simply switch everything to the opposite side. You dont necessarily have to move the whole beds or dressers, just simply exchange everything that is in sight. Move desktop objects, posters, bedspreads/ mattresses. Generally, unless you are extremely good friends with someone, it isnt the best idea to actually go through their drawers or closets. its always hilarious to see their reaction, not to mention when they end up being too lazy to move everything back. Warning though, this is a prank that you want to do with good friends and not with random people.

Post-it Note Mayhem- (my personal favorite)

Go online and buy around 10-20 post it pads so you have around 1000-2000 post it notes. You can buy a 12 pack for about 15-20 dollars and you will need 2-3 people to get this prank done in about an hour. First phase of attack, gain access to room when roommates are gone and begin my putting post-it notes all over the walls/ground/ceiling/furniture/bed/appliances. Any visible object in the room should have post-it notes on it. Second phase of attack, begin hiding the remaining post-it notes so that they will not be found for awhile. Good places to hide: under most objects (tvs, appliances), inside of clothing (put a few on the inside collar of a shirt or in the pockets of a pair of jeans), in appliances (microwave, fridge, freezer). This is a prank that will last for weeks or even months depending on how good you are at hiding post-its. Once again, a warning, this is a prank that is meant for you to do to a friend for fun.

Newspaper avalanche-

Find a good source of newspapers or phonebooks and a fair amount of duck tape. Start pre-planning this prank early by measuring the dimensions of the prankee's outer door frame. Tape newspaper together to form a giant wall that easily covers entire door except for small slot at the top. Continue by crunching up remaining newspaper into small balls and put them into carrying bags (we used laundry bags), you will need a lot. This prank requires at least 3 people. Late at night (3 am), when roommates are both in the room and asleep, QUIETLY go to their room and tape up the giant newspaper wall to their door frame leaving about 5 inches of room at the top of the door. There should be a small gap between the door and newspaper wall due to the door frame. Tape the bottom of the wall to the ground and begin to slowly drop the newspaper balls inside this area until they reach top, this can make a lot of noise so try to be quiet. When finished, grab the rest of your stuff and either knock very loudly on their door (if you want to watch) or simply leave and wait for the morning mess. This is a fun prank that can be done without having to gain access to someone room.

Once again, do not do these pranks maliciously, they are only for fun and friendly prank wars and shenanigans between good buddies.
