I use a hair dryer to get the charcoal in my grill to heat up faster
“ Use your home hairdryer for one minute to relieve pain.
Moxibustion is often used by acupuncture practitioners to treat recurring cases of cold soreness. But it is not suitable for people to perform moxibustion at home. However, there is a home remedy, a hairdryer, that can produce similar results to moxibustion. Using a hair dryer to warm each acupuncture point for one minute can relieve the neck and shoulders’ discomfort.
Unlike moxibustion, which requires precise positioning of the acupuncture points, the hot air from the hair dryer can warm the skin around the acupuncture points. Like moxibustion, it is a warming concept that improves the meridians’ circulation and enhances the body’s Yang energy, thus preventing recurrent stiff neck symptoms.”

When I need to widen a shoe, I heat up the inside with the dryer and outside (forefoot) and then put a thicker sock on and wear the shoe/boot for a few minutes.
I also use it to make my Diamond ring sparkle after I use the cleaner and micro fiber rag.
I use it to defog the mirror after a shower. The exhaust fan doesn’t do a great job. Also use it to dry off after I’ve toweled myself. I hate feeling clammy.
Pipes in very cold weather, and drying art pieces.
My son broke his arm at age 2. Although we were very careful, some water did get inside of the cast and we used a hair dryer to fix the situation.
before the kids would leave for the bus stop, I’d blow the hair dryer down their coats for one last bit of warmth in the winter
