fun topic -- best viewbook?

Now that rising seniors are beginning to be bombarded with college literature, which college has the best viewbook? (in terms of amount of information, aesthetics, etc.)

I like my Rutgers viewbook :).

Columbia's is pretty

I second Columbia.

Midd's was pretty nice too.

usc (the really big one)

I don't know if this is considered a viewbook, but I liked Grinnell's Ins and Outs.

Carleton's was nice.

Duke's has a lot of interesting info but not a lot of pics

I hated Carleton's! The whole apple theme annoyed me so much! I'd rather it actually be informative rather than have pretty glossy photos of apples, apple metaphors, quotes from teachers and students about apples....it drove me crazy.

Middlebury's is quite nice. The campus looks so beautiful in those pictures!

I also liked Amherst's. There was one full page picture of a girl stretching in the foreground, with the practice fields and the mountains in the background just as the sun was rising. I remember saying, "OMG. That must be heaven right there."

Ya, I know, I'm wowed by pretty pictures.

I personally think the Liberal Arts college brochures are really out there...like there was one that was obnoxiously metaphoric, I forget which one it was

But LAC campuses are really cool looking and photogenic too.

This is an awesome thread.

Great ones: UPENN, COLUMBIA, BROWN (although the words ivy league were seen 132536226346 times), DUKE (very modest), CORNELL (Awesome and informative)

I liked USC's

I live in NC and I don't even get mail from Duke and I have pretty good test scores, etc. (or columbia & UPENN for that matter)

Just ask for the viewbook on their site. I had to ask most of the schools as well. ESPECIALLY YALE! OMG they want test scores even before they send u STUFF!

usc's is huge.

yeah Brown's was awesome as well - a lot of info and pics :)

I'd say UChicago and Midd were the best so far...

no opinion....how about they were all nice!!!!!!

I thought Columbia's sucked
Carleton's sucked
Chicago's was decent but felt like a bad album cover
Midd's was nice

Swarthmore was nice
Williams was good
Reed was good

The Williams and Swarthmore acceptance packages weren't as nice as the Viewbooks, if you ask me

Not enough pictures, or any at all, and too much boring writing about Garfield or whoever, who was the alum from there who went on to the President
