Can anyone recommend a fun upper-division class to take? It doesn't have to a breadth or whatever requirement, just upper-division. It also doesn't have to be an easy-A class but just as long as it is interesting.

What type of classes have you found interesting in the past? Do you like math? Political science? I thought Stat 134 was fun, but a lot of people disagree with me on that.

if you like learning about neurological disorders and imaging techniques: Cog sci C127 with Ivry!

I tend to be more interested in the more math-y type of courses and the humanities. I do not enjoy the social sciences.

Does a Decal count?

lol demoz are you referring to the course i recommended or did you just mean in resposne to Chris’s Q?..that class is far from humanities…i think there are even some basic physics principles involved when they cover TMS or BMI…

How about any of Math, Statistics, Economics (101A/C103/104/138/141)? Or Computer Science (161/170/172/174)?

I would be down to take more math/stats/econ/cs but I’m afraid I don’t have the pre-reqs or background knowledge for these classes. I’ve only taken up to Math 53 and Comp Sci 3L.

@Waiting4College: I was making more of a general statement, but I guess it was more directed towards Chris than you. I actually consider Cog Sci to be a science, not humanities. But I also said I enjoy the humanities and not so much the social sciences (yeah, I consider humanities and social sciences to be two separate things). I don’t know how I feel about the sciences because I haven’t really taken any yet. If it’s anything like psychology, though, then it’s probably not for me.
