Anyone have any ideas for fun and interesting VLPA classes to take next quarter? I took Music 120 this quarter and even though it was easy it wasn't as fun as I would have hoped. I'm looking for at least 3 VLPA credits.

Thanks.

You could try some of the Classics courses. I know I would, but that’s probably because I enjoy learning about that time period.

what grade are you in? I want to take photography but it’s only fresh/soph until period 3…so pretty much no chance.

Ok, I’ll take a look at it. Any specific classics course?

consider classics 205 if you’re heading toward pre-health/medical direction. Easy class-just lots of memorizations.

Ok classics 205? Which TA did you have?

Also, anyone have anything to say about Clas 430?

There are no TAs for classics 205… Just grad students teaching. Try to get Naomi Campa! She’s awesome! As long as you do your memorization for each day and take notes on material she specifically writes on the board you shouldn’t get below a 3.5. Heck! You should easily get a 4.0! Regardless of the fact that she gives out a lot of extra credit, as long as you can memorize well and keep up with flashcards I’d be shocked if you got below a 3.5… Yeah, there is a small project (short essay) but it’s no biggie… My friend and I took that class and we did well. 4.0! Hope it goes well with you too, UDubhopeful!
