Fun with PLME

Since I’m not a Republican, I’m glad Brown has the PLME (I’ll be more glad if I get in). It’s a good thing they decided on PLME and not PCME (Program in Conservative Medical Education).

Edit: I’m bored and procrastinating working on my PLME essay.

haha. i'm in the same boat with you.

does anybody know what the avg test scores are for PLME?

According to the data from 2004, the average SAT scores are 722 Verbal and 733 Mathematics on the SAT I.

that doesnt make sense...do you mean conservative? Because it's possible to be a liberal republican...

I was making generalizations.

"I was making generalizations."

I love you.

ahhhhhh glad to see i'm not the only one procrastinating on these

I have yet to start on those. Do they weigh the SAT IIs pretty heavily for the PLME? I totally messed up my bio score with a 660.

I didn't do too well on my SAT IIs either... retaking in January. Either way, my PLME essays turned out very strong. I think so anyway, and so do the people who read it. I worked pretty hard on those (every Brown essay actually) and I hope they make up for some of my below-average areas.

I heard for ED that if they didn't check some "box" that if they didn't get into PLME, they didn't get into Brown.

Is it possible to not get into PLME, but get into Brown for RD?

yeah i'm pretty sure you can....i remember reading that somewhere

That's absolutely possible. Remember, over 90% of those who apply for PLME don't get into it, but a lot are still accepted into Brown.

can your SATs be low if your SAT2's and ACT's are really good if u wanna go to PLME?

I've got a question - I'm doing the paper application, so do I have to handwrite my answers, or can I type and paste them?

Definitely type them... I think they'd prefer that because it's easier to read and easier to fit for you. Most people type long essays, whether sending on paper or online.
