<p>I was wondering what funding is available for postgrad study in Economics for non-US citizens, since as far as I have been made aware, admissions to the top 5 programmes for US applicants are often linked to obtaining external funding. </p>
<p>Therefore, I would appreciate any advice on the scholarship/funding opportunities available for PhD Econ applicants to US universities. </p>
