<p>Is it okay to add humor to my essays? If they truly want to see my personality then a sort of candid writing style would be alright, wouldn't it? I'm just trying to make my essays seem interesting, and unessaylike. Oh and the same goes for the picture(I'm sending one in). I always make crazy faces in pictures, so why not the one I send to them?d</p>
<p>If you are naturally a very, very funny person, then you could consider putting humor in the essay. But make sure it's actually funny, because the majority of supposedly funny essays backfire.</p>
<p>Yeah definitely use humor to your advantage, but have someone else read the essay to make sure it doesn't sound like forced humor. I don't advise making a funny face in the picture. It might encompass your personality but to others it may come off as immature. I know it bites lol but it's just the way things work.</p>
