<p>So I just wrote Northwestern's supplemental essay which is the usual "Why NU?" prompt and I answered the prompt in a humorous and pretty creative manner. I'm worried that the essay might be too risky especially for an elite institution such as NU but I didn't want to give the serious, generic essay that most people would give like talking about the curriculum, location, and diversity, etc. I did mention a few factors that most people would talk about such as the beautiful campus and small class sizes, but I centered my essay around the "risky topic". I feel like the funny essay will help me stand out but idk if its too over the top, any tips? Would you go with the funny essay or a safe essay?</p>
