I saw these in a book (Chicken Soup for the College Soul), so I can't take credit for them, but they're really funny anyway. These are things that people actually put on their applications:

Essays:
-One person wrote about how divorces and seperations are good, because they reduce the need for infidelity.
-Another person wrote that they were applying to such and such college because they wanted to attend a college whose foundation was built on women.
-Someone else wrote that one of their most upsetting experiences in high school was going with other members of PETA for their annual pigeon shoot.

EC's:
-Cooked and served the homeless
-Was on their school's Horror Roll for all of high school

That's all I can remember, since I didn't have enough cash on me to buy the book. Will probabley get it in a few days.

Heh, I've got the book. Some more funny ones include:

If therewas a single word word to describe me, that word would have to be "profectionist".

He was a modest man with an unbelievable ego.

In my senior year, I am serving as the writting editor (writting being the typo)

I want to be billingual in three or more languages

These are from actual essays submitted to Bates and Vassar.
