I’m so glad you all had the opportunity to tour! The tours are truly transformative and are packed with so much information. I definitely agree that they are really advocating for every student to have a well rounded undergraduate experience! Plus Greenville is absolutely amazing with so many opportunities in of itself. I hope to potentially be calling your son a classmate!
I hope the Duke Scholarship interviews went well! Do you know when the awards will be announced? My D’s bestie also interviewed and thought she would hear by 3/12, but she has not. Her mom asked me to check in with “those CC peeps”
Thank you for sharing this. My daughter and I are scheduled to visit in 2 weeks. She was admitted with a Bell Tower scholarship as well. The other schools she is seriously considering are large state schools. We are from Md.
We have not heard anything yet.
Thank you. Good luck to your kiddo!
Thank you for your thoughtful reply. We are also visiting in two weeks & look forward to doing a tour.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply!
If you are a Woodruff finalist and have already been admitted, but you’re still able to make a decision – I guess that means you applied RD, just back in Nov before the scholarship deadline?
Yes, I applied RD to Emory (before the Nov 15th scholarship deadline) and EA to Furman!
Congrats to you for knowing what you want!! Also, another incentive for staying in-state is having that lottery scholarship, which a huge number of people tend to forget. I’m personally leaning towards Furman as well and I hope to get to meet you on campus:)
When is the decision date for Furman?
I believe people may have heard back yesterday 3/15, but not 100% sure
The James B Duke scholarship decisions are out. My D just told me her friend is an alternate.
My daughter was also selected as an alternate. She is crushed…but maybe still a glimmer of hope!
Yes, she is still in the game! Sending positive thoughts your way.
My daughter also named an alternate.
