I'm a US transfer student... McGill won't give me a decision until I send in my final grades but my final grades don't come in until may 22

has this happened to a lot of people??

my gpa is a 3.4 ( I failed a four credit study abroad class by accident)
this semester I'm taking calc III, physics IIH, chemistryII, statistics, arabicI, and western civ II H at community college... and I'm getting all A's which will bring my GPA to a 3.58

I applied to faculty of arts and faculty of science...
I was accepted to the agricultural school

any thoughts?

is it possible that further review required will change to refused before I send in my transcript??

Welcome to the club. I think unless you really surpass the faculty's minimum requirements, you get Further Review Required. My school ends even later than yours--I think May 25th. When I visisted McGill I spoke to someone who gave me the name/number of someone I can contact about sending an unofficial transcript to McGill as soon as I get grades to speed up the process (mail there seems to take foreverrr); if you'd like that, PM me.

Also, don't worry about getting refused before sending the transcript. I know a bunch of people that got Further Review Required and got in as soon as they sent their final transcript. Think of it this way: they didn't outright refuse you with your grades thusfar, and you're getting straight As...what more could they want for acceptance?

yes! but then i called the grumpy old lady at the admits office, and she said to fax in my midterm grades (i had already sent them, but somehow they didnt get there) are you sure they dont just need your 1st sem. grades?

speaking of which...if they didnt get my mid term grades till april 1, how much does that screw me over?

april 1st is better than never

how are you sending in midterm grades? getting each professor to calculate them?
