Futher improvement??

i took the SAT on this November and i was wondering how anyone can improve from a 750 Math... i have done 10+ practice tests and it just seems that i always miss 2 questions. The questions i end up missing are not hard, but i always miss them! They are not even the same kinds of problems!

CR has always been hard for me. I got a 680... i took a Kaplan course, studied with Collegeboard's Book, Barron's. Is there anything else i can do?

Barron's 2100! the best book to use.
it helps to iron out those really difficult questions and you learn really great strategies as to how to solve problems.
and don't make mistakes on the easy questions (that is the dumbest possible error you can make)

Focus on CR - the answers are all in the passage. Sometimes it's really hard to grasp the focus according to the author's pov. Make sure that you're not biased when you're reading the passages. I used to always have some sort of obstinate opinion when I was reading and I didn't do so well on the practice tests. I think if you keep on doing practice tests, you'll come up with your own approach to thinking about the questions and you'll do fine. Keep practicing! That's the best advice anyone can give.

You sound like a close friend of mine. He was so pist(i don't like seeing the stars) that he got a 750 when he only got 2 questions wrong in math.

But are you shooting for like an 800? If I had a 750 I would never take the SAT again. Hell, if I had a 650-700 I would be happy haha.

oh btw, i was referring to math in my post.
CR is just plain practice and careful reading.

Try Princeton Review for CR. I think they're better for verbal than Kaplan and even Barron's.

Thanks. I read really slowly, i think that's my biggest issue on the CR. Any advice for that?
