Futon

<p>try craigs list. also consider getting a bowl chair or something like that.... but really you don't need a futon, you'll live. Dont' buy it if you plan on dumping it in a dumpster....the landfill doesn't need it. buy a second hand one and then use a black twin fitted sheet to cover it....then you will save money and not clog the landfill.</p>

<p>My d's roommate bought the $99 Walmart futon (black metal frame) her first year. Not a bad futon...invest in a few lint rollers though. But her fave was the corderoy covered papasan chair that we picked up at the Durham Bed Bath and Beyond. That thing is still going strong. This year, she and her roommie added the $129 Walmart folding, futon style loveseat with bolster. (Another lint magnet though.) With the shaggy rug and papasan and loveseat, the room looks very homey and furnished....and the loveseat folds out into a twin-size bed for visitors. If any of this stuff makes it through her last 3 or 4 semesters, I'll be happy.</p>
