Where are you from and why you love UCLA?

Where you from ? Mexbruin, aint noone here know about that gang bang lingo! Puro pedo homie! As you may know I am a UCLA alum and I really love everything about the school. The architecture is as pretty as Georgetown, Princeton, MIT, and University of Chicago. I was never bored on campus because there was always things to do. So many people make life exciting at UCLA. There are about a million different places to eat on campus. There is a trillion places to study. The resources available are infinite. We get the privilege of saying that we go to one of the best schools in the world. We are taught by world class faculty. Dam, what is there NOT to like about UCLA. I know I am bias but I seriously wonder how anyone could not want to attend a school like UCLA. Of all the schools I have visited, I have never seen a school as impressive as UCLA. Thats not being bias; thats being honest.

Oh yeah, Im from South Gate.

Neta huh! Southgate I always ball it up at the park right there. YO soy de Eagle rock right by highland park (the real hp) but Im always chilaxing looking for hainas in the maywood/bell/southgate area.

Oh yeah did you transfer or were you a fresh? I wonder if I should go out-of-state I been in LA all my life and was thinking maybe of Michigan u know anything about Ann Arbor? What do you think are my chances at gettin' in the door's of BUnche homie? Im transferring from a cc I have a 3.78 gpa, poli sci major, stats class in progress but other than that all done. All my homies are bruins nomas que yo sali flojo de a tiro so Im in purgatorio for the time being (Community college).

mexbruin, I have no idea how hard it would be to get into UMich as a CC transfer. I know much more about the UCs. I can say that many prestigious schools dont take Community College transfers. If they do, they only take one or two. Stanford is like that. As for UCLA, I hope you can get in. You got the grades but UCLA is always like a crap shoot. Good luck!

Sabes que homie, since I was born at Mission Hospital on Florence Ave I gotta say that Huntington Park is the OG HP! Highland Park can be HP #2! Im from the area; what did you think I would say?
